What to Expect During an EBSA Group Health Plan Investigation

David B. Ritter is Supervisory Investigator for the Atlanta Regional Office.

David began his career with the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) in 2005 as an Investigator. David became a Senior Investigator in February 2010 and then a Supervisory Investigator in July 2012.

As Supervisory Investigator, David manages a staff of nine Investigators and Auditors who are responsible for conducting civil and criminal investigations related to both pension and welfare benefit plans.

David holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State University, a Master’s degree in English from Clemson University, and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the College of Charleston. David has obtained the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation.

The Course Offering ID is 1042607. This course satisfies the requirement for agents selling LTC Insurance, needed every 2 years after completing the initial 8 hour course.
