If you’ve always wanted RHU after your name, hopefully you’ve already started the process. You have until June 30, 2015 to get everything completed. After that, the American College will no longer be issuing the designation but if you have one, you can use it for the rest of your life.
The Registered Employee Benefits Consultant will show your clients and prospects that you are a professional and the expert when it comes to Employee Benefit Plans. You will learn about group medical, long term care, deferred compensation programs, and much more.
This will show your expertise as a Disability Income Associate. You will learn about the need for disability, individual and group plans, taxation, and government disability plans, just to name a few.
With the Long Term Care Professional Designation, you will become familiar with needs, options, financing, products, administration, and claims. This Designation will ensure that you are providing your clients with the best advice when they are in need of this type of coverage.
Certified in Long Term Care will teach the effects upon a family when a long term care situation arises. This includes emotional, physical, and financial consequences. You will learn how to create a plan for your clients and how the plan will be funded. Topics also include the history and regulatory environment of LTC.
